TIME IS ONE THING THAT CONTINUES TO MOVE ON WITHOUT US !
Finding a way to exercise on top of everything else in our busy lives. We have to find time for family , friends , work , and time for ourselves. I hear numerous times on a weekly basis ” I DON’T HAVE TIME TO EXERCISE OR GO TO THE GYM ” and your right you don’t have time. No one does.
The bottom line is you have to make time for yourself. Your body is the number one thing your are responsible for. At the end of the day it is your health and you have to take control of it and not let time take control of you. I know this all too well. I work a full-time job as well as my wife. We have a child. I run this blog/website , we also run a small business on the side. We have a daughter she is involved in events. Between cooking and rushing around to do everything that needs done on a daily basis we Honestly don’t have time to exercise but we make time. We don’t look for an excuse and that is the #1 saying in out household ! It is your health you take responsibility !
Priorities must be in order. You have to make yourself and your goals your #1 priority ! I used to work at a job I had to work 12 hours a day. That was the easy part. I had to get up at 4am to walk 3-4 miles to work every day. I didn’t have a vehicle at the time. I had to be to work at 6am. I would do a 20 minute circuit on lunch or when I got done with my long day of work. Also walking back home as well. I would go home and workout for at least 30 minutes. Still cooked still made time for family. It was get up earlier if need be and go to bed later if need be. It was my PRIORITY to make sure being physically active and finding time to remain healthy.
It just depends on how you choose to utilize that time. Watch the game , turn on Netflix , take a nap . If those type of things are your hobbies and you’re telling yourself i’m not going to workout because you don’t have time. You have time your priorities and time management just need work. Then comes the ” well i’m a procrastinater. ” That’s BS if you see something you want , and you really want it. You’ll find a way to get it. You will find a way to make it happen. So how do you balance everything? I balance it around my goal’s. If there is an appointment that needs to be made. Make that appointment around your gym time around your work time and around your family time. Take action take control and learn to manage your time !
Remember this . Saying ” I DON’T HAVE TIME ” is the adult version of ” THE DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK. ”
